@soilsister 'tis a journey, carried out with resilience and carried along by motherly care, belonging and indeed, yes, a deep sense of responsibility. One of these days the roads will all meet and it will all have been just a journey - one with total achievement and so many lives enriched including your own. ('Dem' Magners Eggs have never been surpassed).
What a journey you are on. I once lived in a corrugated iron house up north in New Zealand. It was a great little old house, the rooms were large and the ceilings high. And of course the sound of the rain!! 😀 So - how much space do you have there! How are you doing? .
We live in a farm of 10,000 acres but rent a tiny yard of it. I have plenty of space to expand my garden but am growing more than enough for my family and friends and local crop swap with a 15 × 15 m plot.
Yes. It is incredible. There is a creek which we cross on our way to town. In our first six months we were flooded in four times. Then for the last six months it completely dried up. It’s flowing again now which is lovely.
I think you will love the project. He has for years been saving heirloom almost-lost, organic seeds, plants and utilising sacred geometry, etc to design and keep these heritage plants and seeds from being lost. It was on Netflix a couple of months ago, but sure it can be found again. =-D

Being able to walk about that big farm must be marvelous. Is there a river?
